kate update

Milestone! Kate now can hold her own bottle. It's so encouraging. She isn't always thrilled about it but she does it. It's really cute.
She naps so easily. I just put her in the bed and she doesn't even cry. That is such a blessing.
I'm working on her birthday party. It's going to be Sept. 9 at 1 pm here at our house. We are going to do barnyard babies because she loves animals.
I don't have any new pictures because Andy has the camera but i'll take some soon. I'm still drooling over the ones that lisa hourin took.
kate still hasn't taken her first steps but she's getting close. she has a bit of a diaper rash so i'm working on that.
i lost my bottle of burts bees lotion so if anybody can find some, we'd love it. it smells so good.
kate has been watching Little Einsteins. She loves this show. It's not even that bad for moms to watch because it is entertaining. they take classical music and teach about it, as well as interesting sites across the globe. when she hears the theme song she stops whatever she is doing to watch. it keeps her happy. jereme introduced us to baby einsteins and this is the show for 2 year olds +.
she finally found a sippy cup that works for her. andy's mom found it and she loves it. i'd tried so many different kinds and this one is great. She loves to use it.
she's such a joy! i enjoy being her mom. it's so fun. when we ride in the car, i have a mirror that she can see me in, and i can see her in. that helps a lot. i just turn around and smile and she gives me a great smile.
only 1 more month of formula! we spend about $100 per month on this so we are looking forward to using plain milk!!!!!!!
