fun girl

Kate was really fun today. she played in her bed and then we went and got her and she played in our bedroom. she likes to crawl into the window and look out and get tangled up in the curtains. then we eat breakfast. then we play and watch little einsteins. i have to sit on the floor with her or she gets upset because she thinks i'm not giving her enough attention. it's fun for me though.
she has been giving herself her own bottle all day! it's so great, but it's kind of sad because it's a big milestone because here she is doing it herself. it's so cute to watch but i've been SO used to doing it. then she takes her nap, she just gets in her bed and goes to sleep. such a blessing, such a big girl!
we played all afternoon and then she napped and i worked with andy on his business. then i took her to walmart and i found out the secret to keeping her happy-give her something to eat! she started out giving herself a bottle but she dropped it and the bottle cracked. so i gave her a fresh green bean from the produce section and she ate it in its entirety. so i gave her 4 more and that lasted the whole shopping trip. no crying, no fussing. i was amazed. so now i know!
she took a bath, we tickled her, and she went to sleep. it's so great having an 11 month old. i love it so much. she is an amazing blessing.
