the note from school

dear parents,
this is a note to advise you of our revised policy on biting. biting occurs for many different reasons.
(3 pages later)......
Dear Parent,
This is to report that Kate injured someone at school. She bit another child. Please speak with her.
Signed by her teacher and school director

If any of you know how to speak german, that is what kate is currently speaking. So please let me know and I will "speak with her" about biting.
we did have a talk on the ride home that went like this. i bit my hand, i said, "ow bite. no bite." made the "no" sign (whatever that looks like) over my mouth and said, "bite no. no bite." i think she understood because she replied "bite."
hahaha it's funny typing this out. i said "bite bad no bite hurt." she looked concerned. so i think i had the "talk" with her so let's hope that works.
however, she's been teething badly, fever and everything, so i can't really control that. they even sent her home from school for fever-which, guess what-it's from teething.
poor kate! i mean that other kid, bless them, better watch out for kate's teeth!
please do not reply to this with biting advice. i already got the 3 page + letter from the school. i now know the psychology behind it, how to prevent it, how to treat it, how to avoid it.
now maybe i should get kate to read it while she's potty training on the magic potty.
hahaha. yeah right. then i can teach her how to wash her own clothes, too.
